The 322 Plan

Experience (NACE Career Ready). Experiences that demonstrate to employers that you are qualified are easy to find on a college campus. Each student must be proactive and intentional in preparing for life after graduation. UNI Career Services, after significant research, has found that the common formula in achieving success at graduation is a combination of the 3-2-2.

3.0 GPA + 2 Internships + 2 Leadership, or
2.7 GPA + 2 Internships + 3 Leadership, or
2.5 GPA + 3 Internships + 2 Leaderships

In each situation, you control the ability to make yourself attractive to employers. Internships may include part-time jobs, co-ops, and volunteer experiences related to your career. Leadership is where you are responsible for the outcome of people or activities.
