2025 National Student Employee Appreciation Week
In celebration of the 2025 National Student Employee Appreciation Week, the University of Northern Iowa celebrates the contributions made by over 2,200 student staff. Each individual office will recognize and celebrate student success across campus. A campuswide celebration was hosted in April to recognize Student Employee of the Year Nominees. In 2024, 49 students were officially nominated, 5 selected as finalist and 1 as the UNI Student Employee of the Year.
To nominate your student, complete this form!
Tips for Nomination:
- Focus on the impact the student has made to the UNI campus.
- Add quotes or specific examples.
- What you write is the only information the committee sees - write well.
- In the past, the winning essays have usually been about half page to one page in length.
(some will write in Google Docs for editing and then paste into the form) - Submit prior to the deadline of February 14 at 4:30 pm.
