Interview Room for Check-Out
UNI Career Services has interview suites for students to check-out during the day for interviewing. The provided space is a quiet small office located in Gilchrist Hall with a neutral background that allows you to focus on presenting yourself without distraction of roommates or pets. Wi-Fi is provided on the UNI network. If needed, a wired internet connection and desktop computer is available.
Please place a space request as early as possible.
Recorded Virtual Interview
Occasionally you may apply to a job that requires a recorded virtual interview. Recorded interviews require you to use their software to read the questions and answer them as if you were talking to a recruiter. Once your interview is complete, the recording is sent to a recruiter to review. These are typically done by large companies as their first screening interview. You can practice this style of interview with our practice software, Standout.
